Sweetwater Music – online (Indianapolis) 1/4 & 1/2 size Yamaha – $129.99. Yamaha has a good reputation. I found several other online sites that carry 1/2 and 3/4 size guitars, all around the $150 range.
www.reverb.com sells used guitars from shops and private owners. A person looking for an inexpensive fractional size guitar could look on there for some really great deals.

Oscar Schmidt at Mike’s Music, Carbondale – 3/4 & 1/4
Someone ought to pick up the $130 3/4 Yamaha from Mayberry Music in Anna. I’ve been to Mayberry and Mike’s Music to see the guitars and try them out. Even if you buy online, you should look at the guitars at Mike’s Music in Marion – just east of Hunan Chinese Restaurant on Hy 13. The guys in the shop can show you the guitars and tune & play them for you.
